1. General Provisions & Scope
1.1. These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") govern the legal relationship between Deus Detail OÜ (registry code: 17568455, VAT: EE103014582, address: Masina tn 20, Tallinn 10144, Estonia; email: hello@deusdetail.ee; hereinafter "Provider" or "Deus Detail") and any natural or legal person (hereinafter "Client") who uses the website deusdetail.ee, orders services, purchases gift certificates, or submits vehicles for detailing at the Deus Detail studio located at Masina 20, Tallinn.
1.2. By placing an online booking, submitting an order form, purchasing a gift card, or delivering a vehicle to Deus Detail, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the specific terms of the chosen service package.
1.3. These Terms comply with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, including the Law of Obligations Act (Võlaõigusseadus — VÕS) and the Consumer Protection Act (Tarbijakaitseseadus — TKS).
2. Services, Orders & Bookings
2.1. Deus Detail provides professional automotive care services, including but not limited to hand washing, chemical interior sanitization, paint correction and polishing, ceramic protective coatings, pre-sale preparation packages, engine bay cleaning, and B2B corporate fleet cleaning.
2.2. Booking Channels & Process: Appointments may be booked online via the integrated SalonLife cloud booking system on deusdetail.ee, as well as by telephone, email, or in person at the Deus Detail studio at Masina 20. Upon booking confirmation, the Client receives a booking confirmation via email or SMS containing appointment details.
2.3. Cancellation & Rescheduling: Direct bookings may be canceled or rescheduled free of charge up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows without prior notice, Deus Detail reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee or require a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.
2.4. Late Arrivals: If the Client arrives more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, Deus Detail reserves the right to reschedule the appointment or reduce the scope of service to maintain the daily studio schedule.
3. Prices, Invoicing & Payment Terms
3.1. All prices published on deusdetail.ee are quoted in EUROS (€) and include the standard Estonian Value Added Tax (VAT / käibemaks) of 24%.
3.2. Deus Detail reserves the right to adjust service pricing. The price applicable to a specific booking is the price displayed at the time the booking was submitted.
3.3. Payment Methods: Services can be paid for on-site via debit/credit card terminal or cash upon vehicle pickup. Corporate B2B clients pay via bank transfer based on an official invoice (arve alusel) issued by Deus Detail OÜ under agreed payment terms.
3.4. Surcharges (Asterisk Conditions): Heavily soiled vehicles, excessive bitumen/tar deposits, animal hair extraction, or deep mold contamination are subject to an additional labor surcharge (starting from +15 €). Any surcharge will be communicated to the Client prior to or during initial vehicle inspection.
4. Vehicle Handover, Inspection & Liability Disclaimers
4.1. Client Duty of Disclosure: The Client is obligated to inform Deus Detail prior to service commencement of any pre-existing vehicle defects, including re-painted panels, chipped lacquer, cracked glass, loose exterior trim, malfunctioning electronics, or aftermarket modifications.
4.2. Pre-Service Inspection: Deus Detail conducts an initial visual inspection upon receiving the vehicle. Pre-existing scratches, dents, lacquer degradation, or interior wear documented by Deus Detail or captured on studio CCTV cameras are not the responsibility of Deus Detail.
4.3. Valuables in Vehicle: Deus Detail is strictly not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, cash, electronics, or valuables left inside the vehicle. Clients are required to remove all personal items before handing over the vehicle keys.
4.4. Technical & Paint Limitations:
- Abrasive paint correction and restorative compounding reduce clear coat thickness. Deus Detail reserves the right to adjust or decline aggressive compounding if paint gauge measurements indicate structural risk or insufficient lacquer layer.
- Deus Detail is not liable for clear coat peeling, lacquer flaking, or damage resulting from prior low-quality re-painting, Smart Repair touch-ups, or hidden OEM manufacturing defects.
4.5. Vehicle Pickup: The Client must inspect and retrieve the vehicle at the agreed completion time. Vehicles left at Masina 20 overnight without prior written agreement may incur a storage fee of 15 € per calendar day.
5. Gift Certificates
5.1. Gift Certificates issued by Deus Detail OÜ are valid for exactly twelve (12) months from the exact date of payment receipt.
5.2. Statutory 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (VÕS § 56): Private consumers purchasing gift certificates online have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from purchase, provided the certificate voucher code has not been redeemed in whole or in part.
5.3. Non-Refundability & Balance: Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash (kinkekaarti ei vahetata raha vastu). No cash change is given (tagasiraha ei maksta); any remaining unused balance stays on the voucher code for future visits within the 12-month validity period.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All content, trade names, graphics, logos ("DEUS DETAIL"), texts, design elements, and photography published on deusdetail.ee are the exclusive intellectual property of Deus Detail OÜ and protected under Republic of Estonia and international intellectual property legislation. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or commercial use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
7. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
7.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
7.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms or service delivery shall be resolved primarily through good-faith negotiations.
7.3. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, a private consumer Client has the statutory right to apply to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon, address: Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn; email: info@tarbijavaidlus.ee; website: ttja.ee) or submit a claim to the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus).
